Q&A: Adrian Durant

Cornell men's track & field head coach Adrian Durant has had a busy #Rio2016. Not only is he serving as the head coach of the US Virgin Islands, for which he himself competed as an athlete, he is also the coach for former Big Red Bruno Hortelano-Roig (Spain, 200m), and on top of those he will be checking out the events for other Cornell alums Muhammad Halim (US Virgin Islands, triple jump) and Stephen Mozia (Nigeria, shot put) as well as rising senior Rudy Winkler (USA, weight throw). He talked to #IviesinRio about his work trip to Rio de Janeiro.

Former Dartmouth head women's cross country coach and assistant track & field coach Mark Coogan has ties to two current #IviesinRio, as he coached both Abbey D'Agostino and Alexi Pappas at Dartmouth and is D'Agostino's current coach. #IviesinRio asked him about coaching a pair of Olympians.
Q&A: Jimmy Pedro

Jimmy Pedro, a 1994 Brown graduate, is a two-time Olympic medalist in Judo and is in Rio as the Judo head coach of Team USA for his second game. Pedro led Kayla Harrison to her second straight gold medal in the 78kg weight class. Pedro caught up with #IviesinRio to look at back at his Olympic experiences.
