The Olympic rowing races were cancelled on Wednesday, Aug. 10 as rain and winds lashed the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

With racing postponed, FISA prioritized Wednesday's semifinals, repechages for the two eights and six A finals in tomorrow's revised schedule. Racing originally scheduled for Wednesday, with the exception of the C/D semifinals in the two single sculls, will be contested Thursday, as will the originally scheduled medal races.
